We’re delighted to announce our partnership with the world’s pre-eminent Ocean Racing Club —The Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC).
They operate some of the world’s best offshore races like the Rolex Fastnet Race, RORC Caribbean 600 and Transatlantic, and the Admiral’s Cup—and their racecourses are the natural habitat for our Performance Clothing, the best foul weather gear on the planet.
As part of our shared commitment to talent development, we’ll be providing full race kit to 10 crews on the Griffin project, which offers youth sailors a pathway into offshore racing. These youth crews will compete in international events such as the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour in Italy and the Tour Voile in France, as well as the 2025 RORC Season’s Points Championship including the Rolex Fastnet Race. 2025 sees RORC celebrate its Centenary—100 years at the forefront of offshore yacht racing. To celebrate, we’ll be supporting them in creating an exclusive commemorative collection.
This partnership marks a monumental milestone for our business. North Sails Performance Clothing was launched in 2021 and in just four years has become the kit of choice for race winning crews around the world - most recently by Scallywag who took line honours in the 2024 Rolex Middle Sea Race. Our partnership with RORC cements our position at the forefront of the marine clothing industry.
“Our members return to our races year after year because they know they will experience the best offshore racing in the world” said Jeremy Wilton, CEO of the Royal Ocean Racing Club. “We design our races to challenge, and our competitors rely on gear that gives them the opportunity to perform at their best and stay warm and dry in harsh offshore conditions. North Sails Apparel is built for exactly these conditions, and we’re excited to develop this partnership, ensuring our crews are equipped for the toughest challenges ahead.”

We launched our technical performance gear with a singular goal – to create the best foul weather gear on the planet, it seemed a natural next step to partner with the world’s pre-eminent Ocean Racing Club.”
“At North Sails Apparel we prioritise nurturing talent, and I’m particularly keen to watch the journey of the Griffin graduates.”
