North Sails has developed a library of multihull sail shapes customized to each sail’s needs. Multihull sails require precise engineering for straight masts while rotating masts enhance aerodynamics. Increased headstay sag and high righting moments allow for flatter, specialized sails that perform efficiently upwind and at tighter wind angles.

Without a backstay, multihulls can use large-roach mainsails optimized for area, aerodynamics, and handling. The Square Top Mainsail enhances upwind and downwind performance, while the High Roach Mainsail offers a traditional, stowable option for cruisers. A: 3Di sails are lightweight, easy to handle, durable, and offer excellent shape retention. Built on a 3D mold, 3Di sails are made from the world's lightest, strongest, most durable filaments available creating the the longest-lasting (zero delam), most aero-optimized sails on the market.
