The Bayview One Design Regatta
began in 2012 with our own Karl Kuspa as Vice-Chairman with then Governor of Bayview Yacht Club Hanson Bratton. Fast forward six years and the regatta is still going, growing in popularity each year and providing a quality weekend of One Design racing. The regatta is hosted by Bayview Yacht Club
in Detroit, sitting right on the Detroit river, connecting out to Lake St. Clair. A perfect arena for premium racing and post-racing events.
As one of the co chairs of the first Bayview One Design Regatta, this event will always be a special one for me. The event is a great kick off to the sailing season here in the Lakes. For the sailors, it is great competition but also a lot of fun on shore. Karl Kuspa
