Noel Appointed One Design Manager
Having been involved in sailmaking since the early 80s, Noel is passionate about developing the best sails for clients, making him a great fit for the expert team in Sydney. Noel's new role will allow him to pursue his passion over many One Design classes. Noel has experience onboard racing yachts like the TP52 and RC44 , where he has seen the standard of coaching in these classes develop at its highest level. Noel understands how critical it is to work with clients on the water to develop the best sails possible, and enjoys doing so. His broad based experience, having sailed everything from the AC boats, 90 foot tri's,
J24s, Etchells, Lasers, A-Class Cats, and Volvo's all round the world.
"There are so many different classes, and all have their individual class related requirements, and that is what excites me the most about my new role with North Sails."
Noel has been involved in the Etchells Class since the early 80s, and it is a very exciting time- which was evident at the recent worlds in Brisbane where Noel sailed with John Bertrand and Ben Lamb. Noel was impressed with the radial moulded sail designs and is looking forward to working with clients to continue that development. We look forward to working with Noel and giving him the opportunity to bring his experience and expertise to our clients in Sydney.
