GORE-TEX® PRO
GORE-TEX® PRO is the only membrane that's durably waterproof enough to take the abuse that our sport throws at it. In addition, the sophisticated membrane offers a superior level of breathability - meaning that sweat is quickly wicked away from the body, stopping the wearer from becoming damp inside their kit during active race periods, which then cools and chills during calmer moments. Crucially GORE-TEX® PRO is entirely windproof, protecting for longer against an icy breeze. Tested and Proven during 25 years of offshore and ocean racing GORE-TEX® PRO remains the industry benchmark.

PERTEX® Shield Air
An extremely breathable technology, that relies on moisture moving through the fiber filaments of the fabric via capillary action.Pertex® Shield Air uses an air permeable nanofibre that’s laminated to a lightweight, woven protective layer. The combination creates an exceedingly light, supple material with remarkable stretch properties.

TIGHTWEAVE™
TightWeave™ is a fabric construction that uses much thinner threads and much tighter weaves. This unique North Sails construction method creates natural water-repellency, reducing wetting-out whilst providing high-abrasion resistance.We have adapted TightWeave™ to give the optimum mix of capabilities in the different race environments. The fabric number is the total weight of the face fabric per square meter in grams.

4DL™
4DL™ is a new four-layer durable laminated reinforcement. Lamination means no water pocket is created behind the patch, taking longer to dry. No sewing and seam taping a patch significantly reduce seam failure in a high-stress zone.Thanks to this technology, there's zero water absorption - totally impenetrable to water.

DuraSeal™
A super-thin, incredibly stretchy 1.2mm glideskin neoprene forms an entirely watertight seal at the neck and wrist. In addition, a protective external layer of nylon makes DuraSeal™ much tougher and stops UV degradation.

POLYGIENE®
Polygiene® Stays Fresh Technology keeps clothing fresher for longer by stopping the growth of odor-causing bacteria with a biocide made of silver chloride. This salt inhibits and guards against the growth of bacteria and fungi. Polygiene® stays effective through many more washes than any other anti-bacterial treatment. Bluesign® approved.
